Christmas spirit at Prophix

This December, members of the Prophix family made a difference in the community by helping those less fortunate to have a warm and wonderful Christmas with their families. As Christmas approached, Prophix employees purchased gifts to help families who struggle financially throughout the year, and for whom the holidays add an extra financial burden.

Prophix has partnered with the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation for 4 years now by hosting an Angel Tree. We received a description of children’s names and ages, as well as their wish lists for clothing and toys. Prophix employees ran to the stores and stood in line to make these little ones’ dreams come true.

Our giving did not stop there. Paul Barber (our CEO) and Bob Walker (our CTO) supported the local Salvation Army food bank. The executives discussed the idea with their employees, and everyone agreed to forego the tradition of gifting each employee with a turkey and instead donated the turkeys on behalf of the employees.

In total, Prophix gave gifts and toys to 30 children and helped feed 150 families on Christmas day.
