As we conclude the 4th year of participation in the Movember campaign, it’s fascinating to see the support received from the entire Prophix family. In this year’s edition, 12 brave souls gave up their razor (some may even say their dignity) for an entire month to grow hair on their upper lips. Some creative moustaches were grown (image below). The grand champion of this year’s competition, as voted by the office, is Luke Hannan.
More importantly, the financial support provided totalled $2,541. This is yet another record for a donation to the campaign by Prophix and highlights the generous nature of the entire group towards this cause.
By participating in the Movember campaign, we are part of a global movement that has funded over 800 men’s health programs since 2003 through the power of the moustache. These funds make an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. The Movember Foundation is working tirelessly every day, connecting and funding the best scientific and clinical minds in the world, working towards two urgent goals: 1) fast tracking a time when no man will die from prostate or testicular cancer, and 2) to rid the world of discrimination against men and boys with mental health problems.
The participation and support received over these past four years has been remarkable. The moustaches have been legendary!
